Cactus Chumbera Print, botanical illustration of opuntia plant with flowers made from my original watercolor and gouache artwork.

Opuntia ficus-indica, a cactus native to America and known by various names such as nopal, tuna, opuntia or chumbera. Able to regenerate from its own fragments on the ground and survive in extreme climates or poor soils, it is a symbol of resilience, strength and adaptability.
