The Junonia butterfly is famous for ocellated patterns on its wings, which look like eyes and serve to scare off predators. These butterflies are incredibly adaptable, occurring in a variety of habitats. Its bright color varies with temperature during development, being darker in cold climates to absorb more heat.

The watercolor is painted on 300 gram cotton paper Hahnemühle vegan, fine texture, and protected with varnish. Due to the delicate nature of watercolor, it is not recommended to expose it to direct sunlight.
